"Dogoto" to heal without medicine

Ancient African Geomancy "Dogoto" to heal without medicine
This is an extract from a paper and lecture I was asked to present as the guest presenter of two International conferences, the first in San Diego USA and the second in Italy.
China has a well-recognized geomantic tradition in Feng Shui. Most, if not all ancient cultures have some kind of geomantic tradition. But what of the great, dark continent of Africa?
Anthony Ashworth went on a pilgrimage to his homeland Africa with the express desire to find out if the Africans, as a group of peoples, had any significant tradition in Geomancy or sacred space. He was more than surprised to find a living tradition as rich as China, Tibet or India. For this tradition, which does not have a name as such, Anthony coined the term "Dogoto" a Zulu word meaning to "Heal without medicine ".
What potential archetypal knowledge infuses all ancient building traditions?
What, if anything, can we learn about these traditions that may inform us, as to the core environmental needs of humanity? Are there core similarities between the various Geomantic traditions, and can we endeavor to define a non-cultural or multi-cultural Geomantic system outside the boundaries of religion and or culture?
What may more subtle factors support human beings other than physical shelter and aesthetics?
What do we really need to consider in the design and decoration of our places?
Sangoma (High Sanusi) Credo
What, if any, concepts tap into a deeper, more ancient understanding of place, perhaps only realised and appreciated by us in the deep recesses of our subconscious.
These questions inevitably led building designer Anthony Ashworth to a study of the world’s geomantic and cosmological design systems. Firstly to Feng Shui, the most popular and arguably one of the most coherent systems, then deeper into the past, to India’s Vastu Shastra, the forefather of Feng Shui. This led to an appreciation for the place of ritual and ceremony and its encoded knowledge, which led yet further back into our roots in the indigenous traditions and shamanism. Ultimately leading back to humanity’s shared and now proven ancient birthplace, our primal Mother Afrika.
Academic research into African geomancy & building traditions revealed very little.
Seeking information directly from the source necessitated a research trip to Africa, to study with the Sangoma, traditional shaman, holders of the old ways. This led to one outstanding teacher, Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa, Zulu High Shaman, Knower of the past and future, Keeper of all African tribal beliefs. Credo unlike most other Sangoma was willing to share what many Africans still consider sacred and secret knowledge. So, as on a pilgrimage, Anthony traveled back to Southern Africa, the place of his birth, for the first time in 40 years, to sit at the feet of a great African Master.
I credit a great deal of the African knowledge and concepts contained in this paper, directly to Credo Mutwa, as gifted to me as I sat at his feet and then charged to share this knowledge of Africa with others. Credo is a great man, I have had the privilege to sit with a number of great spiritual teachers in my short life. Credo is, in my opinion, an African equal to the likes of the Dali Lama, the Pope or a great Yogic Swami. He has all the traits of a great master, unassuming and humble, polite to a word, totally centered, with a profoundly wonderful wit.
He asked nothing of me and gave so very much.
The common threads, between the ancient traditions of African and those of the Eastern and Western traditions, astound me and the similarities seem to be far more than the differences.
The African spiritual and geomantic systems, their messages, myths and methodologies, all share much in common with more well known cosmological and subtle energetic design systems.
Africa shares an understanding and emphasis on concepts such as: the Earth as a living organism, our role as human beings as protectors of that Earth, the concept of gnomic centre, the Axis Mundi, the importance of the directions and how they carry differing energies, classification and hierarchical division of differing subtle energies into the elements such as earth, fire, water and air; the effect of colours as a spiritual and energetic force, how materials generally and in buildings have both good and harmful effects on the human system, and how shape and form in structures effect and inform us, to mention but a few.
The traditional African is very deeply connected to the earth and to a sense of place.
They see the earth as their primal and living mother. This is not dissimilar to the beliefs of other more recognised indigenous peoples such as Native American and Australian Aboriginal. In fact, they even share many root words, for instance, “Kuri.” in Zulu and in Australian Aboriginal is the very same word meaning whale.
This deep connection brings a very full awareness of the influence of one’s place and space, on one’s life. Especially informed are the Sangoma, keepers of sacred knowledge. With an apprenticeship of between ten to twenty-five years, they may be likened to African Druids. The trees and all nature are their sacred teachers and provide their medicines and wisdom. The Sangoma works on behalf of the community, as a medium, a bridge between the seen and unseen, between this world and the parallel “other worlds”, between the all-important ancestors and the individual. The ancestors are seen in a similar way to Chinese thinking and other indigenous cultures, to be able to influence the subtle forces of the universe, to bring rain, influence health and all aspects of life. The African first looks at what spiritual or energetic force may be causing negative issues in their life before they attempt a physical cure. This is a living tradition most Africans still actively live every day. Geomancy and geomantic divination are an integral part of everyday African life.
“We create our homes and then they create us” Winston Churchill
Like the Geomantic traditions of the West, Feng Shui, Vastu Veda of India, and many other ancient traditions, the African is concerned with sacred space and the manipulation of the environmental energies for the physical, emotional, psychological & spiritual well being and healing. The Sangoma’s, (Credo Mutwa’s at least), understanding is as great or in some aspects even greater than most I have studied.
Architects, designers and other place makers such as Feng Shui practitioners, can take great solace in the following revelation from Credo. In Africa, building designers or place makers are considered to be very karmically advanced. In Credo’s words: “very close to God’s hand”. The manipulation of our environment as built structures is seen as being of critical importance. They, the place makers are therefore considered very spiritually evolved and are considered to have no more than five remaining reincarnations on this earth, until their ultimate release and enlightenment. All of which “should” be good and positive reincarnations.
Sacred Geometry and ‘not so sacred’ geometry.
The traditional Zulu dwelling is the thatched and wattle and daub timber framed Beehive hut. According to Credo this is a very deliberate shape. The curvilinear geometry of the dome, circular plan, and soft edges evolved and was maintained, in order to help heal injured warriors. After battle and injury, the warriors spent time in these environments enabling them to heal very rapidly. He also pointed out that the ancient Celts, amongst others, also built round houses of similar shape and construction and for the same reasons, and that Native American Tepee’s with a “cone” geometry, have a similar effectiveness.
Celtic Round Houses were made of wattle and daub with thatched cone-shaped roofs. They usually had a single entrance, aligned according to cosmological principles. The majority were oriented towards the east. All remarkably similar construction and form to Zulu huts. The Roman invaders of Britain frowned upon the local building techniques as described by Vitruvius who lamented that ‘burnt brick’ would be so much better. Perhaps beginning the eventual demise of this type of earth construction in Britain.
“Dogoto” means to heal without the need for medicine. Credo applied this word to the traditional Zulu domed huts. A “ne” at the end of the word denotes a thing or a place. So a place that heals a person without the use of medicine is Dogotone. I suggest this could be used as an appropriate labeling, for their rich building and place tradition. How many modern buildings would we be happy to apply this label of healing too? Ultimately, is this not the concern of all geomantically-influenced buildings, to help, rather than hinder the human condition? Currently, most modern buildings and the materials used to construct them, the poor understanding of the designers and lack of awareness of the clients create, or at the least contribute to, illness and dis-ease rather than actively supporting, let alone helping to heal the inhabitants.
Again, echoing such traditions as Feng Shui and Vastu Veda, Credo told how building shape is paramount to the vibrational energies their shape sets up, influencing and containing the energy. Credo spoke with great passion about this and lamented the current trends in world architecture. He drew particular attention to the squared off, sharp-edged, rectangular building types of today along with all the straight lines, planes and square, sharp windows, doors and openings. He considers this type of dominant design to be profoundly negative. In his own very strong words
“Bloody murderous buildings, sending us mad”.
According to Credo Mutwa, in the Zulu and other African traditions, very similar to the teachings of Feng Shui, sharp edges create negative energy and negative pressure waves or negative “Chi”, known in Feng Shui as "Shar Chi" or poison arrows. The African tradition goes further to say that all sharp corners to all surfaces should ideally be somewhat rounded off. Believing that the western obsession with straight, boxy architecture, interiors, and furnishings, is creating a negatively charged environment, that has ultimately led to (or contributed to) a downfall of positive consciousness, creating psychological, physical and spiritual health issues for us all.
Many ancient buildings although often based on regulated and squared geometry, are at least softened in their application and construction. Deliberately or by handcrafted building techniques and or the applied three-dimensional decoration, effectively taking off the straight cut. Many modern building styles are obsessed with so-called ‘clean and hard lines’, minimal textural surface treatments and are often referred to as ‘Zen-inspired design’. I would beg to differ. My study of Japanese Wabi Sabi, the Zen of things and place, shows me that there is nothing Zen about this style, quite the contrary. Wabi Sabi is about soulfulness, materials that age with the gracefulness of time and that reveal spiritual truths, not an obsession with minimalism and planar glossy surfaces.
Credo cited the dominant building types of civilizations such as Rome and Babylon as very precise and sharp in form and edge, with hard squared fenestration (window & doors openings). He described these cultures as “bloody-minded.” Hitler’s fascist architecture had these characteristics. Credo says the actual Architecture of the infamous twin towers of New York’s 911 may have, in some way, attracted negativity and helped to single them out?
Since my talks with Credo in 2003, there does seem to be some trend away from the box in civic and large-scale architecture. Unfortunately, contemporary domestic architecture seems to be ever more “the box” as the desired model.
Within the context of this paper I am not able to go into explicit detail about all that I have learned about African geomancy, However, I will now, at least give quite some detail on one interesting case study.
It is worth considering, alternate forms for our buildings. An adobe style, with rounded internal and external corners to buildings, the corners of doors and windows etc. It may be a more gentle, feminine alternative to the masculine, cutting box.

Portals and Space Clearing with Mystic
March 15, 2018
"A lot of people talk a good game when it comes to space clearing but here is how proper, magical space-clearing is really done."
This is a reblog from Mystic Medusa blog https://mysticmedusa.com/2012/07/ghost-busting-with-artemis-absinthe/
As some of you know, I got Anthony Ashworth in to do some ghost-busting the other day. And it was brilliant. He is mostly working in the Southern Hemisphere but he’s networked to the hilt (he had an amazing Elder wand carved as a Snake and with a rose quartz crystal in the mouth, it was made for him by England’s Chief Druid at the time) so you can email him to get reccies for space-clearings, ghost-busting etc where-ever it is you live. I like him as he has an insanely brill knowledge of esoterica, Shamanic stuff and myth but he is also an avid listener…And he is Aries! NOT at all like the peeps we bitched about in Bad Guru Syndrome.
So some random thoughts re the process…this is just if you’re interested in space cleansing, ghosts and so on. I get that it may be insanely dull for some peeps.
* I smudge and spray Space Cleansing spray around whenever i clean (a lot – Mars in Virgo, right?!) and my house is Feng Shuied to the hilt + i got the Ley Lines done. So I almost thought he might walk in and say nothing needed to be done. Like when you fantasize that a trainer is somehow going to excuse you from lunges lol. But now he came in with what looked like half of Hogwarts and laid it out on my desk. Some scary looking instruments were, he said, just in case. Happily we didn’t need the full on ‘fuq off demon’ expulsion kit.
* Runes are rad. I don’t think about them very often but I SHOULD because of my German-Nordic heritage. It is good to get with your DNA-Racial type myths-Pagan traditions. And Runes are simple to use. eg; I am now getting the Algizrune carved into the table I do most of my writing on. It is for Protection (from Love Zombies?) and Opportunity, amongst other things. So this is like a simple but effective way to magic up your everyday life. Not everyone wants to go around carving Runes into furniture, I get it, you can have a little wooden plaque or something if you want.
* The actual clearing is full ON. I guarantee your neighbors will hate your guts by the end of it. There is an ultra-loud Ganesh bell, loads and loads of Sage, a drum that sounds satisfyingly primordial + loads of melodic but carrying chanting of ancient Mantras. Before it, whilst Anthony is setting up the mandala (like the one above but I was too absorbed to get a pic of my actual one soz – it had the Runes done in salt- you have to have a cleansing shower with this stunning natural magic gunk: rosemary, frankincense, sea salt and a few other things I forget. You come out looking and feeling sensational – the bath, less so.
* Artemesia Absinthe! This stuff is something else. It’s absinthe made with mugwort & wormwood the most powerful magic herb of all…aka Herb of Artemis. You can only put a couple of drops on your tongue, it is amazingly bitter and said to help you access other dimensions. Genius substance. You can make it yourself. I am seriously considering doing this but fear that with the excuse of it being SO enchanted and good for you, it would too easy to develop a hefty Blue Devil Hoochie Juice habit. You steep mugwort in vodka, i think. It also has the effect – as does all Mugwort no matter how you do it – of cutting unhealthy ties. It is like Anti Love Zombie Venom but all the more powerful for being with alcohol. Alcohol is Arabic for “The Spirits” f.y.i.
* Anthony the Aries Ghost Buster said there were NO ghosts in the house. So i’m like “well w.t.f has been waking me up in the middle of the night?” He said it can be emfs or even your own electrical energy going haywire. This makes sense as i have Aqua Rising and a very prominent Uranus – i get those sleep startles, clairaudience & electric shocks non-stop. But then he discovered the portal in the backyard. I have a side courtyard thing but a tiny backyard, so dark and annoying that when i moved here last Aug, i basically decided to ignore it. I am not going to go into long-winded explanation re this, it felt right. Even though it’s my main $$ & Romance sector. I know, right, der?
And so when AA could not open the door to get out there, I was doing a rad job of talking him into totes ignoring it all. He was insistent, saying “it is part of your property, you have to confront this…” like a shrink with a snake wand. So THAT is where there was a Portal. Portals are neutral. Anything can come through them. (Sydney Residents: There is apparently a massive one on Cleveland St lol) There could technically be more with the Large Hadron Particle Collider doing its things. BUT the point is that you discourage crap entities from coming through by making the area where it is awesome.
And i had let this little area be all dank and unloved. It is not just the Portal, it’s also that it is a double 8 in Flying Star Feng Shui so it needs to be a gorgeous area. So my new OBSESSION is to beautify this area so I instantly (swathed in a haze of Sage smoke – I think the neighbors think I am a massive pothead now) texted the Celtic Leo and said you HAVE to help me with this. He is good value. He is painting me a giant Red Ankh to go on the wall, weeding and researching whether a plant i call Dunny Creeper but which has a more spiritual name will work there.
* AA is genius at helping you work out your Power Animals/Totems/Guides etc. He doesn’t prescribe. He just sort of asks interesting questions and the answers present themselves. Amazing. And he thinks you should always have a representation of it – at least one- in your house. For power and as a ready symbol so you can all upon it and/or feel strengthened gazing at the pic. Plus it’s more magic. In your house. So I am getting the awesome Raven pic below. It’s a superb pic because the Artist actually gets that Ravens in the underworld are always silver. That is how they show up.
* Ganesh – the Elephant God said to be the Remover of Obstacles – is brilliant to have as a statue guarding your entrance. Inside if you think he is going to be nicked. Ganesh, says AA, is like a Christ figure. I am NOT going to attempt a retelling of the myth here but he is said to guard the Divine Feminine…Interesting, yes?
Okay, so there was loads more but it was fascinating and yah, the house feels completely diff. Unfortunately, it also bought up a whole lot of flu-like symptoms (a ghost cleansing crisis?) but the clearing aspect of it works a treat. And the ideas to magic up one’s house are just amazing. He does form school Feng Shui, not Flying Star (my fave) but if you have already had Flying Star Feng Shui done, he just works around that. I realize this reads like an ad and it is actually not – I paid and it’s not that cheap lol! So time-consuming, exhausting and loud but totes worth it i.m.o.
So I dunno, what do you think? And would it be legal for me to make Artemis Absinthe and sell it through the site as Anti Love Zombie Venom?

Beam me up "not" A Feng Shui & Vastu tip
March 14, 2018
Whilst I love the look of exposed beams. From a Feng Shui and *Vastu point of view, one needs to be careful of the use of them and especially, but not limited to bedrooms and over beds.As they can create a sense of dis-ease, and possible problems with what is known as the "Cutting Chi" The energy of a bow wave that comes off the beam itself, pressing down, say over your legs can create health issues in the legs, or between you and your partner may create a pushing apart of the couple. These are only as a potentiality not as a given. Some of my clients just do not feel comfortable sitting under a beam. let alone sleeping under one.
I often suggest enclosing the beams over the bed as an optimal solution or at least painting them out to be the same as the ceiling if they are highlighted or timber or installing a hanging fabric canopy can work well.
* Vastu is an ancient Indian Vedic Feng Shui system. The Great Grandfather of Feng Shui.

Common interior design mistakes and how to avoid or fix them.
November 16, 2017
Common interior design mistakes and how to avoid or fix them.
One very common interior design mistake is to follow, strong interior design tends from the TV shows, magazines or social media. What I mean by strong is, quite individuated to a time, or a theme or specific look. By the time we notice a trend, its often outdated already, it can easily date your home to that period in time.
For example the current already & passed in my opinion trend of “timber look” ceramic tiles, this will date your home or renovation to this precise time of around 2015-2016. It was a new and relatively innovative product not extensively seen before, so specific to that time. Another current trend which I happen to quite admire, is the Biophilic inspired trend, using Nature as inspiration.
I applaud these principles of bringing nature into our homes to nuture our souls. However the current trend refers to natural patterns of plants, flowers shells, feather etc. But it may, depending on the individual strength of a particular design or pattern, date quickly.
Certainly the associated trend of tribal-influenced Biophilic design where feathers and printed tribal artefacts etc , are featured will. Again I personally really like tribal-inspired patterns and prints. But be careful they may date your home or renovations or worse they may it outdated already.
One way to notice if a trend is collapsing and a past already is if the materials are already heavily discounted or on sale, via the big discount houses. They are trying to clear of stock that is not moving for a reason.
All this is easily fixed, choose finishes you like not "what is on trend" and more toward neutrals with less specific patterns or colours finishes and materials. That being said if you wait 15 or 20 years, it may become retro enough to be on trend again.
Be an individual. Not part of the heard.
Real natural materials tend not to date so easily useless they have not been used much before, natural materials and natural colours are considered to be the best Vastu Feng Shui materials, having the best subtle vibration, but they also have different qualities too, so need to be selected with discernment as well.

On first impressions:
“First impressions count and are all important in the feeling of a welcome home and not just for your guests, but importantly for you to feel fully welcomed. Create a beautiful, inspirational entry that reminds & inspired you of what life you really want to live. Then critically, use it!
Many of us now drive directly into our dark smelly garage, if so then into a bland hallway, so try going back out through the garage door and in through your now beautiful & inspirational entry! The ancient Chinese referred to this as the ‘Shining golden entryway’.”

Dowsing as a support to Feng Shui
November 10, 2017
I recently gave a presentation at the AFSC conference on the Gold Coast 2017 on Dowsing as a support to Feng Shui, followed by workshops on the Gold Coast and in Sydney, but dowsing is more then a mere support, its amongst the the very ancient roots & foundations of Feng Shui itself.
More than 2000 years ago the writings of the veritable sage Confucius mentions dowsing, Emperor Kwang Sung 2200 BC was known to have dowsed & the prophecies of Hosea more than 1400 years ago talk of dowsing for water veins he refers to as ‘divination’. Emperor Ta Yu, the founder of the Hsia dynasty also talks of dowsing. Dowsing was used to determine underground water and energy streams and dragon lines.
In the later periods the Feng Shui masters used and still do use today the Lou Pan, the indication of the trembling of the the Lou Pan needle is used to access earth energies and geopathic stress.
My point here is, dowsing is sometimes considered a new age or ancient western modality, it is not ! It clearly was and can be an integrated part of our present Feng Shui practice, I would go so far as to suggest or ask, that without implementing it into our Feng Shui work and consultations are we fully and authentically practicing Feng Shui?
Dowsing is an art that taps into our intuition into the divine feminine within all of us, it’s a diagnostic tool that tunes into unseen energies inherent or embedded in a home or the land under it or surrounding it, these unhealthy or troublesome energies may be man made or natural or even spirit energies.
The dowsing rod, pendulum or Lou Pan needle is not magic, no psychic ability is needed.
Dowsing & it’s tools are simply instruments which shows the reaction of the human nervous system & subconscious selves. Our rational mind may process 4 or 5 pieces of information at one time, our subconscious can process over 40,000 pieces of information at one time and is far more sensitive than any of our 5 senses, as experienced through our rational mind, dowsing taps into our ancient intuitive self, the gut feeling that kept us alive as a species a for millions of years before we developed our rational minds. So get dowsing for your clients and yourself, if you know how or learn how to if you don’t.
After many years of dowsing & much research, I now teach specific techniques to become professionally proficient & confident with dowsing, entraining both the left an right brain together so they work in harmony for significant & accurate results. If you would like to learn or step up and inot your dowsing skills please contact me, to register your interest. Anthony Ashworth

Vastu & Chess: The Game of Existence
October 10, 2017
Vastu & Chess: The game of existence.
The game of Chess is an very ancient game with connections deeply rooted in the Vedic tradition of Vastu and the Vastu mandala grid of squares, most often simplified down to a 8 x 8 or 9x 9 squares held within a square grid of one over aching square.
The chess board of eight x eight squares represent the meta-field of non-physical existence, as opposed to nine x nine squares which infers the physical field in which we are mostly conscious. So Chess is about what has created and is happening in the greater universe, its not a simple war game, about soldiers. Its deeper more mysterious the we we image. I think I and many of us have felt this when we play, its ancientness it’s so much more than a game.
Originally before the pieces were ascribed as Kings & Queens, knights and bishops, the pieces were hierarchical Devas, angelic energetic creatrix beings, still present and accessible in parallel universes today and they represented and still do, the forces of light. The black pieces are the Asura's or some call demons, although they not evil demons as such.
“Asuras (Sanskrit: असुर) are mythological lord beings in Indian texts who compete for power with the more benevolent devas (also known as suras). Asuras are described in Indian texts as powerful superhuman demigods or demons with good or bad qualities.” Wikipedia
It's most important to note both "sides" pieces black and white travel on both the black and white squares, suggesting dualists pathways of opposing energy for both sides angelic and demonic to travel upon. In the bible the devil was once an angel who took a differential path to that of the good angels, later demonified as fallen from grace, but no devil then no God.
From a Vedic perspective the universe defined itself by subtle separation in order to self experience, so there is no 'game' or no existence no consciousness at all, without both sides represented here by black & white.
Without the black, the darkness, we cannot perceive the light and without light the white, we can not perceive darkness. The universe (us) is simply unable not only to perceive, but to exist at all, without its counterpart, the two sides are the very same sides of the same coin.
In chess we participate in this symbolic and metaphorical reference to the teaching of the Vedas, where the eternal struggle between theses two opposites, that are one and eternally linked (and actually aspects of the one. Or are the one, differentiated )
Both are required for life & consciousness itself, to exist, at all. There is no way to see the one without the other it must as a given, contrast against itself a counterpart.
So when you may next see a game or play chess played or play yourself, remember it is more than even an archetypal battle, rather the chess board is a universal metaphor of the creatrix matrix showing us symbolically how the universe and the core forces if of the universe & existence are being played out. You get to be in the mind of God in some sense symbolically. Check Mate. By Anthony Ashworth Vastu Feng shui man

Space Clearing the ghosts of energies past

Space Clearing the ghosts of energies past. by Anthony Ashworth
This article was origainlly published in Issue Magazine.
I had a sickening feeling in my gut, like when you are confronted with the smell of something really spoiled & rotten, your nose tells you to be aware, be careful, something’s toxic, something’s off.
I gagged then burped & coughed “this place feels awful” I said to myself. But there was no physical "off" smell, nothing was rotten or off, or was there?
This was a clients apartment they had rented out, bad tenants with bad vibes, it felt shabby & unkempt yes, but the worst of it was the feeling the place had, just pure bad, sad feeling in the air &coming out of the very walls. You would think I would have gotten used to this by now, I had been clearing & cleansing other peoples homes for many years. Oh well just another day of Space Clearing.
My client had gotten me in to Space Clear both their home & an investment apartment they were having a lot of trouble with, the latest tenants were again bad tenants, as were the ones before them & before them yet again, drug addicts & this time worse with mental health issues to boot, I had at that point no idea of any of this history, but I could feel it in my bones, the house was whispering to me, telling me all its stories of sadness, grieve, anger & sickness that were trapped in the walls, the floors the entire fabric of the building, all the ills of the human condition, all the unrealised dreams & the lost love. I could feel tears welling up as I burped & gagged yet again. My client who was hovering by the open door said “can you fix this?”
Whilst this place was a lot worse than your average home needing a Space Clearing, I could clear it, I would help to reset the energy of this poor little apartment to be light, clear supportive of whoever next lived here.
Ok I said, lets sort this out, where’s my house doctors bag,( its literlly a large old doctors leather bag)
And I grabbed my big shamanic frame drum & I began to tell the house with sound & song, precious herbs & smoke that it was loved after all, the very indwelling living spirit of the home seemed to begin to smile & the etheric smell began to dissipate & abate.
The happy ending to this dark tale is that within a few days of clearing it and investing the place with positive energy vibes & love, my client rang me to announce with great glee that he had rented the apartment out to a charming young executive who had asked for a long lease & much to his complete consternation, if it was alright if she repainted the entire unit, at her cost!
Space Clearing which is markedly different to Feng Shui may be an ancient tradition, but frankly it is needed more thn even in our modern times. Even or especially in your normal suburban homes or places of businesses.
Sadly just leaving the television on, brings in negative energies from the outside world, let alone all the inadvertent negativity we create ourselves in our home. Sickness, sadness worry or the simple act of an unfulfilled dream or unrealised aspiration, a single sad thought or worse, spoken words of anger or despair can create a small but cumulative pocket of down-ness of darkness, all of which over time builds up embeds itself in the home & creates a less than ideal environment in which to live & thrive
The more hardcore & mystical aspect of Space Clearing is Ghost oe entity busting.
Some homes & some people do experience non helpful spirits, ghosts or entities, these energies may not be malevolent as such, perhaps just disruptive of sleep, often creating fear in the family, which makes it worse, often time it is children who are more aware & experience this as night terrors.
These types of problems are often associated with the home being on a spirit line, ley line or song lines or the junction of two of theses lines, which tend to work as spirit highways the junctions being spots to hop off, others reside in places that may have been meaningful to them in life. People often get scared because spirits can project onto them another person, one whom the ghost wants to tell something, not the person now living their. So for instance they might say “come with me to the other side” which is quite scary stuff, but this statement is being addressed to an ex-wife, not you. They simply just see you as that other persona they want to see.
Sometimes theses troubled homes require clearing & healing with dowsing & earth acupuncture as well as Space Clearing.
Whist this article has focused somewhat on the negative effects of not Space Clearing, the big plus in Space Clearing is what it brings forth in your life, bucket loads of positive energy & a much greater likelihood of your dreams & desires and aspirations being manifest, right now.
If you would like to have your home Space Cleared I’d love to be of service, I also run on request one or two day DYI Space Clearing workshops 6 or more people require . Anthony Ashworth is a Sydney based professional Space Clearer & Feng Shui Man & dowser working throughout Australia.
